I wonder if it’s possible that Africa and South america could have been the head of a large creature considering they were together at one point. Hence the Horn of Africa maybe it’s got a deeper meaning?

Sipaktli was divided into several parts by the gods; her head turned into thirteen heavens, her body into the earth, and her tail turned into nine hells of Miktlan.
